A Spectrum of Visions: Perspectives across the Photogrammetry & Remote Sensing Community
LinkedIn page for this event
This annual conference goes back to 1997, and this year is being held for the first time at George Mason University in collaboration with the Department of Geography and Geoinformation Science.
The theme of this year’s GeoTech conference is “A Spectrum of Visions”. The focus is to capture the vision of Experts on the various disciplines that make up the Photogrammetry & Remote Sensing community today. The latest advances in fields such as LiDAR, spectral remote sensing, Geospatial Information Systems (GIS), synthetic aperture radar (SAR), and Human Terrain Modeling will lead to diverse new applications, including environmental monitoring and remediation, disaster relief, and geospatial intelligence. To that end, we have assembled a highly esteemed group of speakers for our workshops and technical session.
I highly encourage you to take advantage of this year’s GeoTech conference at George Mason University to hear the R&D and technology forecasts from respected and visionary experts across the ever evolving fields they represent. Hope to see you there!
Peter Doucette, PhD
