Calling all Exhibitors and Sponsors:
We would like to invite your participation to Exhibit at, and/or Sponsor this year’s GeoTech 2010 conference for the ASPRS Potomac Region.
This annual conference goes back to 1997, and this year is being held for the first time at George Mason University in collaboration with the Department of Geography and Geoinformation Science. The conference dates are September 27-28, 2010. The first day (27th) will be the workshop day, and the second day (28th) will be for the technical session and exhibit hall. Historical conference attendance has been around150 people per day; but this year we’re hoping to boost that number! We have a significant amount of exhibitor space compared to previous years, so I highly encourage you to participate.
The theme of this year’s GeoTech conference is “A Spectrum of Visions”. The focus is to capture the vision of Experts on the various disciplines that make up the Photogrammetry & Remote Sensing community today. The latest advances in fields such as LiDAR, spectral remote sensing, Geospatial Information Systems (GIS), synthetic aperture radar (SAR), and Human Terrain Modeling will lead to diverse new applications, including environmental monitoring and remediation, disaster relief, and geospatial intelligence. To that end, we are assembling a highly esteemed group of speakers for our workshops and technical session.
Keynote speakers will include: Dr. Kevin Slocum to talk about future developments in LiDAR, and Professor Edward Mikhail of Purdue University to talk about Photogrammetric Registration.
Sponsorship and exhibiting at this conference is a great way to gain corporate exposure and firmly established your organization as a leader in the Potomac Region of ASPRS, which is the largest member region in ASPRS. As usual, we’ve kept our rates at a very affordable level (it’s a great deal for your organization), since the conference organization committee is an all voluntary service to the community.
