Directions to NOAA Auditorium and Science Center:

1301 East-West Highway, Silver Spring, Maryland
West of and adjacent to the Silver Spring Metro Station
[30 minutes from downtown Washington, DC on the MetroRail Red Line]

Walking Directions From MetroRail Station:

• Exit Silver Spring MetroRail Station
• Turn left and walk under the MetroRail tracks to the first corner, East-West Highway
• Turn left (south) on East-West Highway and walk to the top of the hill, passing two separate entrances to public parking garages
• Turn left into the plaza at the information kiosk on the sidewalk that is marked with the street address # 1305
• The building to the left is 1305, and the NOAA Auditorium and Science Center is at 1301, straight ahead at the rear of the plaza

Driving Directions from the Capital Beltway:

• Exit the Washington Capital Beltway (I495) on Exit #30 Colesville Road SOUTH. Follow Colesville Road PAST the intersection of and Georgia Avenue. (ie- stay on Colesville Road (Straight) where route 29 goes left and follows Georgia Avenue.
• Then, take a left onto East-West Highway. The best two parking garages are on the left BUT MAY BE FULL IF YOU ARE ARRIVING LATE. See the link to Silver Spring parking below.
• Once you have parked, the NOAA Auditorium and Science Center is past these two parking garages and is marked with the street address #1305 at the rear of the plaza with a large fountain.
• The entrance to the NOAA Auditorium and Science Center is directly behind this fountain.
